Microrepeat analysis of BAC33152 (163 kb). Regions of high sequence similarity within repeat-masked version of the sequence are indicated. Note the symmetrical and inverted orientation of the large blocks of beta -satellite repeats bracketing the ZNF gene. The zinc finger motif within the last exon of the gene is identified by the vertical bar. Annotation of the BAC, including the positions of exons as well as human endogenous retroviral elements and beta -satellite repeat regions, has been added. (For details, see Eichler et al., p. 791.)
