About the Cover

Cover Figure

Cover In situ detection of 8-oxoG in human chromosomes. A human metaphase spread prepared from PHA-stimulated peripheral lymphocytes was subjected to immunofluorescence microscopy using anti-8-oxo-dG monoclonal antibody (N45.1). 8-oxoG was detected as multiple dot-like green signals with a strong fluorescence intensity in an interphase nucleus and metaphase chromosomes. DNA was counter-stained by DAPI (red).(For details, see Ohno et al., pp. 567–575.)
